Soft, comfortable to wear, non binding.These socks are a great find. I normally wear cuff socks because I have "sturdy" ankles and thighs, and so many regular crew socks are way too tight and leave indentations. I had bought some new shoes which have heel slippage and drag down my cuff socks, and I wanted to find mostly cotton crew style socks that don't strangle my legs. These are perfect, in fact they are the best socks I have found in years! They are very comfortable, the material plush and soft, and the tops stay up just fine, and leave no marks or discomfort. They stay up just fine too with my new (expensive UGGs) shoes with heel slippage, they don't get dragged down at all. I ordered others of this brand which I like too, but these are my favorite because of the higher cotton content and extra thickness. I LOVE these socks. In fact I put my other socks away and only wear this brand now. The design that holds them up without digging in to the legs is just wonderful, everything about these are the best!PS- This is not an advertisement though it may seem that way, I am just a regular person who has struggled for years to find decent socks with high cotton content that fit well and feel good!I have venous insufficiency and at 82 the tops of my feet are very sensitive to abrasion. I'm not diabetic, but tightness around my ankles in so many others socks I've tried have produced pins and needles sensations. My daughter is a runner and hasn't needed to buy her own socks for years because I've kept her well supplied with ones I couldn't wear with any degree of comfort. About 3 months ago I decided to try 3 prs. of these in heather gray. They aren't too thick or too thin, but just right for me, so now I've ordered more in black this time. I wear custom orthotic inserts in my shoes that are bulky and these socks fit so well, my feet don't feel jammed in. They have a smooth fit and stay put. I wear size 9 shoes and ordered the large size to avoid any pulling against my toes. Bingo!Super comfortable, my go-to every time! Got them in three colors.I have small legs but regular socks were too tight at top. My feet were swelling with regular socks. I ordered these socks and they were loose at top, but still held in place. Very soft, wash well.I'm diabetic and bought these for me. My husband keeps wearing them. They are soft and not binding. Went back and bought more in other colors. Best socks we've ever bought.PERFECT SOX except for heavy lint and a faded strip along the center top, but I have noticed these drawbacks seem to be universal and unavoidable. I will continue to purchase these over others.Outstanding socks, very soft, stay up well, and non-binding. A+++++
