Just received my set of new 20 - 30 compression socks.I use compression socks for a couple of reasons:1. I have pulmonary embolisms (blood clots in the lungs). Dr's don't know how it happened, but blood clots often start in the legs and can travel. Wearing compression can help prevent getting another clot in the leg (if that's what happened). I know there are anti-embolism compression socks, but I don't have a prescription for them, so I'm doing this on my own.2. I have tachycardia (high resting heart rate). A normal heart rate should be 60 - 100bpm (preferably 60 - 80bpm). Mine is about 120. I've found that wearing compression (even 15-20) brings my heart rate all the way down into the 80's quite regularly. Less strain on the heart is always a good thing.3. Lastly, due to health complications not listed. I currently have a mostly sedentary life. I can't exercise or move around like I want to. The compression socks help circulate the blood from your legs to your heart and prevents blood from pooling in your leg veins, deep vein thrombosis, hypertension (as mentioned) and more.Additionally, when I am standing or walking for an extended period of time, my legs and feet don't ache or get sore. Particularly with 20 - 30 compression, I also feel a bit energized wearing them.Compression socks take getting used to. One thing I do (and as a guy, I'm not ashamed to admit it) I shave my legs. Not with a razor blade, but an electric hair trimmer. Why? I found that the compression socks were itchy with leg hair. I'm no sasquatch, but when I trimmed down... They we're very comfortable. You forget your wedding them over time, and contrary to popular belief, you don't sweat in them, not like you would with everyday socks. My overall viewpoint is that they are well made socks. No loose threads and the stitching seems solid with the exception that the stitching over the toes isn't smooth, that's disappointing. I mostly don't feel it, but it's more noticeable with sneakers on. (Pics attached)Another star off for false advertising.Understand that when you look at clothing online, from socks to shirts, the photos are generally taken in a studio space using daylight lamps and they are HEAVILY photoshopped or lightroomed or whatever photo editing software you've heard about. Colors are greatly enhanced to entice you to buy.The purple sock, for example, isn't purple. It's gray with a little purple mixed in (see photos). It looks very similar to other regular gray socks. To compare, I also posted a couple of other colors by the window so you can see in daylight what these socks actually look like. They're not bad, but they aren't the bold colors you're expecting, so if that's one of the things you're interested in, look elsewhere. I will say however that you'll likely need to compromise, because I have compression socks from another seller and although the colors were more accurate than these, they weren't nearly as bold as their photo's showed either.Know that going in, and I don't believe you'll be disappointed. They do look and feel like a well made sock with comfortable compression, afterall... that's why you're buying them. I hope in time the toe area (perhaps after a wash or two will smooth out). For a set of 6 pairs of 20 - 30 compression socks under $20.00 you can't expect perfection, but I don't think you're getting ripped off. They do what they're supposed to do.I hope this review has helped you make the best informed decision. These are good stockings. My only issue is that they are too long. They go up over my knee. And there should be two fingers length between the stocking and your knee.My first time buying this brand. They are small for size, and they caused a painful red mark behind one knee.I have to wear compression socks. These are as effective and comfortable as my basic black but they are in fun patterns. I love them. I have long, narrow feet and slim legs—shoe size womens 10 AAA. I wear the small/medium and the fit is perfect.Super fun! Cute patterns and colors, love the variety. They are compression socks but even more snug to get onGood designs and fabric, just too tight for me personally. I work as a PCT for 12 hour shifts and the minimum mmHg (15-20) is plenty in my opinion. Length is good too, just to the knee. These stockings are cute, but they don’t offer as much support as other compression stockings I’ve worn. I find them a little itchy, and they are very warm to wear in the summer. But I think they will be great to wear this fall and winter!Very nice! Great quality. They are a bit shorter than others I have boughtItems as describedHaven’t used it yetGood quality
