I purchased two pairs of these and one pair of another brand, made in Italy. These CEP socks are head and shoulders above the Italian ones. I wear these socks because my doctor directed me to do so as part of a treatment for a blood clot in my lower leg. The level of compression is quite "strong", they appear to very well made, even to the point of the manufacturer specifying which sock is for the left foot and which for the right. I beg to differ with those reviewers who say these are easy to put on and take off: they certainly are _not_ for me and if they are so easy to get on and off why are there dozens of videos on YouTube suggesting/describing ways of doing so? The suggestion to wear rubber gloves (simple Rubber Maid dishwashing gloves work just fine) is one I have followed and I find them infinitely easier to get on and off using these rubber gloves. Also, I find them easier to get on than to get off and, the more I wear them, the more I got the hang of getting them on and off. After the first time doing so, I was totally discouraged and annoyed that I was now going to have to add this hassle to my daily routine. Within a week or so, however, I began to get the hang of it and now it's not all that much of a bother.I was a little apprehensive about purchasing this product. My vascular surgeon recommended these socks during a recent visit to his office. He stated that they would help with my varicose veins and restless while I wait for insurance approval. When I arrived home that day I went to Amazon to look at the product and determine how this item is sized. The description stated that you should measure your calf to determine the best size, and the size was spot on perfect!I have issues with claustrophobia, including clothes that are tight fitting, which is why I was so apprehensive about ordering this product. The morning after I received it, I put them on and wore them to work. I was pleasantly surprised at how well they fit and how comfortable they are. I never had an issue with sweating, or feeling like they were too tight.I would highly recommend this product to anyone, and the fact that my surgeon recommended them should say a lot about how effective this product it.These compression socks seem smaller than all the other ones I have.They were too thin and lightweight and ripped the first time I tried to put them on.I actually ordered a size larger too.Had leg thrombosis during COVID-19 pandemic. Doctors recommended compression sock and highly recommended CEP as the best. I received a pair, marked L and R (left and right), but I only wear the one sock on my right. No problem or discomfort at all wearing either the L or R on my right leg and allows me to switch when dirty without needing to wash right away.These socks are great. A bit more compression, and much lighter and cooler than the regular Progressive+ socks (which I also like). My only complaint is that since they're thinner and lighter, they're easier to tear. I poked a small hole in them while putting them on, but that was really my own fault - now I'm more careful and have not made any more holes, and so far the one I made has not gotten any bigger. Highly recommended as long as you're careful putting them on.I've owned these 45 days, probably wore them 30 times, and probably washed them 20-25 times. I always wear sports socks over them. These are comfortable and they don't actually look too bad.However after about 25 times of wearing them, they have ripped on the back (calf). I'm still wearing them, but I'm not sure how much long they will hold up. I was hoping that these would last 3 months. I might try to repair them.For as much as I paid for them, I was hoping they would last longer.These are fantastic for working on my feet all day in the OR. True medical quality compression, 25-30mmHg listed on the packaging which unnoticed was missing from the Amazon description. I prefer Ultralight because they have the same compression but breathe better and I'm in Florida so don't need extra thickness. Great value if you catch it on sale especially if you dot mind bright colors!Good product I use these for support and injury prevention when running 30-35 miles a week. I have been plagued with ankle, foot, Achilles. And calf injuries or pain for many years and these have been a valuable part of my preventative program.Treibe fast täglich Ausdauersport (Laufen, Mountainbike fahren). Auf ärztliche Empfehlung nach einer Thrombose hab ich mir die Socken gekauft. Nicht nur der medizinische Aspekt, den ich nicht beurteilen kann, ist für mich ausschlaggebend, sondern besonders beim Laufen ist das Schweregefühl während des ersten Kilometers weg.Bringt bei mir nix und ich neige bei dem Material zu Blasen!Ich kaufe diesen Artikel des öfteren, die Kompressionswirkung ist gut, lange haltbar und man schwitzt nicht so stark in ihnen.
