The socks fit good and I wear an 8 or 8.5 walking shoe in W, and I ordered the S/M size. Nice snug fit with no extra side pieces bunched at toes or seams to walk on. Colors are nice. I did see a review that showed a sock that was bad so I checked all of mine and yep, one blue sock did not have all of the thread at the toes. The grey weaving stopped short and the sock is very thin there. I guess it won't last very long. Would be nice if the seller would send me a replacement with out the hassle of doing a return. Each pair comes in indv plastic wrap and the compression is very nice. I had foot surgery recently and it helps my swelling. Socks are easy to put on as well. I think they do what I want. Only complaint is the seam across the top of the toes. I researched some ways to help with the excruciating pain. Along with icing and elevating compression socks help. I bought these socks as a intro to compression socks for pain. Though I've only had them a little over a month they have helped reduce my pain by half. I don't like wearing socks In the house because my feet get hot at times but I never pull these off they never get too hot for me and I even fall asleep with them on. I replaced my normal shoe socks with these.
