They were nice before I washed them in cold water. They did shrink big time. I wouldn't recommend it.i've bought several of these from different places, but when you look a the packaging it's pretty obvious that they're all from the same place with slightly different markings. and they all have the same funny fit where they feel twisted somehow. can't figure it out looking at them, they don't look crooked. but it's so difficult for me to find gray socks that aren't too tight on my legs. Personal favorites last time were from the well knitting store, but i can work with these, too.Sox are great but are really small. I wear 12 1/2 shoe and ordered the extra large size (13 - 15) and if they were any smaller I could not get them on.Men's diabetic socks are comfortable & priced right.Ankle socks are a fairly rare commodity especially in size 13-15. Of course you can buy name brand for a few dollars a pair even on sale but these are a little over a dollar each and I haven't found others in this category. I wear an 11 1/2 5E shoe and I have a high instep. I've used diabetic socks for years but they're mostly too tight. These fill the need very well as with a little pulling the 13-15 fit. They don't shrink in the wash and they stay up without binding.They are socks what more can you expect for a buck?The product is great in feel and stretch. But my problem is that my right foot is just a bit longer and so the right foot with the sock is not quit long enough around the heel.. The left is and the right no.I wear size 15 shoe and these should fit.. I would of expected to to be longer in the foot part and for the heel to wrap around the heel.. Oh well I'll have to look around.. BUT the sock are so dam comfortable I wish they made a 16" only sock..My husband complimented these socks. He said they were neither to high up on his leg or too low . He is very pleased with them . He is not one to make a positive comment on socks so it was pretty impressive that he was so complimentary . Will likely purchase again .cheap & comfortable I am not diabetic but I hate tight socks these have been perfect
