I work as the Nursery Consultant for my local Home Depot and the major part of my job is watering the plant. Since the store I work at is in a desert area with little to no rain and 100° plus temps this requires daily heavy watering which basically mean standing in water for up to 8 hours. In the past I have used walking shoes but they take forever to dry out and insole wear out quickly. This is the second pair of water shoes I purchase this season (first lasted a week before they rubbed my foot raw in a few spots).Long story short:These shoe are comfortable, I feel like I’m not wearing any shoes at all. At the end of an eight hour shift my legs don’t hurt from standing on concert all day. Also at the end of my watering shift I rinse off any debris (soil from possible runoff) then change into dry shoes. With the shoe off I like to removed the insole and wash with a little dawn soap, spray them off really good and the wring out excess water, and let them air dry in a locker.
